  2. Each styled version appears instantly in its own row below — bold, italic, script, bubble and the rest.
  3. Click Copy next to the style you like.
  4. Paste it into your Instagram bio, TikTok display name, Discord status, a tweet, or anywhere you can type.

What makes this "fancy text" actually work

These are not custom fonts and they are not images — they are real Unicode characters. Unicode is the worldwide standard that assigns a number to every letter, digit and symbol, and it happens to include whole alphabets of styled look-alikes: mathematical bold, script, double-struck,monospace and more. This tool maps each letter you type to its styled twin by a fixed code-point offset, so "Hello" becomes 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 in bold or ℋℯ𝓁𝓁ℴ in script.

Because the result is plain text, it travels anywhere normal text goes — no special font needs to be installed on the device that reads it. That is exactly why it is so popular for social bios and usernames: you paste characters, not a graphic, so they stay crisp and selectable everywhere.

The styles you get

You get the classics — bold, italic and bold-italic — plusscript (cursive), double-struck (the chalkboard-bold ℕ ℤ ℝ look),monospace, and small caps. There are enclosed styles too:bubble (circled) and squared letters. Two styles use combining marks layered onto each character to give you strikethrough and underline. Finally,upside-down text flips each character to its rotated look-alike and reverses the order, so it genuinely reads upside down.

Is it private?

Yes — every style is built in your browser with plain JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded, logged or sent to a server, so even a personal bio or a draft caption stays entirely on your own device.

Tips for the best results

Apps render Unicode slightly differently, so always preview before you post. Combining styles(strikethrough and underline) are the most app-dependent — some keyboards and older Android builds nudge the marks out of place. If a style shows boxes or missing glyphs on someone else's phone, that device simply lacks those characters; pick a more widely supported style like bold, italic or small caps. And remember that screen readers read these characters letter by letter, so use fancy styling for short names and accents rather than whole paragraphs you need everyone to read easily.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this in my Instagram or TikTok bio?

Yes. Copy any style and paste it into your bio or display name. Preview it first, since a few combining styles can look different across apps.

Do numbers and symbols get styled too?

Some do. Bold, monospace, double-struck and bubble include digits, and upside-down flips many symbols. Where a style has no equivalent, the original character is kept.

Is anything sent to a server?

No. The whole tool runs locally in your browser, so your text is never uploaded.

Why does pasted text sometimes lose its style?

A handful of apps strip or normalize unusual characters. If that happens, try a different style — bold and italic are the most universally supported.
