How to extract pages from a PDF

  1. Add your PDF. Drag it onto the box or click to browse. The tool reads it on your device and shows the total page count.
  2. List the pages to keep. Type page numbers and ranges separated by commas, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. Page numbers start at 1.
  3. Extract and download. Press Extract & download. Only the pages you listed are copied into a new PDF that downloads instantly.
  4. Need another? Click Choose another PDF to start over with a different file.

What page ranges mean

A single number like 4 keeps just that page. A range like 8-10 keeps pages 8, 9 and 10, the dash is inclusive on both ends. You can mix the two freely: 1-3, 5, 8-10 pulls pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9 and 10 into the new file. The pages land in the order you type them, so listing 5, 1, 3 gives you a PDF whose first three pages are the original 5, 1 and 3. That makes it easy to reorder and trim in a single step. The numbering you type always refers to the original PDF, so you never have to recalculate positions.

Why extract pages?

Sometimes you only need a slice of a long document: a single chapter from a manual, the invoice page from a statement, or the signature page to send back. Pulling those pages into their own PDF keeps the file tidy and small, and it hides everything you did not want to share. It is also handy for splitting a scanned packet into separate documents, or for grabbing the few pages a portal asks for when it has a page or size limit. Because the result is a standard PDF, it opens anywhere and prints exactly as expected. If you only need a handful of pages, extracting them is often faster and cleaner than deleting all the rest one by one.

Frequently asked questions

Does it upload my PDF?

No, pages are pulled out in your browser; nothing leaves your device.

How do I write the page list?

Use commas and dashes, like 1-3, 5, 8-10. Numbers start at 1, and ranges include both ends.

Does the order follow what I type?

Yes, the new PDF keeps your pages in the exact order you list them, so you can reorder as you extract.

What if I enter a page that does not exist?

The tool checks your list against the total page count and shows an error instead of producing a broken file.
